HI, I’M BRITTANY

At Anchor Point, I believe therapy should be relational, transformational, and tailored to you.

Transformational

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. My role is to guide, support, and anchor you through the waves—toward greater clarity, resilience, and self-trust.

Brittany Klipstein, LCSW, PMH-C

Founder | Therapist | Clinical Supervisor | Advocate

I’m Brittany, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Anchor Point Behavioral Health. My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens in safe, authentic relationships—and that therapy should feel both transformative and deeply human.

I’ve spent over a decade working with children, teens, adults, and families across a wide range of settings—hospitals, schools, agencies, and community mental health clinics. These experiences have shaped my clinical lens and deepened my commitment to integrative, evidence-based care. I draw from a range of approaches including CBT, DBT, EMDR, IFS, ACT, ERP, and trauma-informed modalities. Whether we’re working through anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, family dynamics, or parenting struggles, I tailor therapy to meet you where you are—with care, flexibility, and intention.

I earned my B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience from Gettysburg College, where I completed honors research on childhood anxiety and graduated with distinction. I went on to receive my Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, gaining specialized training in the treatment of trauma, severe mental illness, mood disorders, and substance dependence.

My career has spanned early childhood consulting, school-based mental health, intensive outpatient work, and inpatient treatment. This has afforded me a comprehensive depth and breadth of clinical experience. I hold certifications in Perinatal Mental Health (Postpartum Support International), ADHD, and Trauma. I have advanced training in EMDR and LGBTQIA+ affirming care.

Ongoing mentorship is a deep value of mine—I also serve as a field instructor (SIFI certification) and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) for emerging social workers.

My style.

Compassionate care with clinical precision

There’s an old adage that therapists enter this field for a reason—and I believe there’s truth to that. I see lived experience as a powerful clinical tool that fosters genuine connection and deep understanding.

I bring my clinical expertise, love of learning, and authenticity into the room with me every time. I don’t believe in therapists as blank slates. I believe in showing up with integrity, professionalism, and a healthy dose of humanity through humor, quick wit, and candor.

My special interests include perinatal and postpartum mental health, trauma recovery, women’s mental health, emerging adulthood, and navigating grief and bereavement.

Clients describe me as warm, genuine, and grounded. I see my role not as an expert on your life, but as a guide who walks alongside you—helping you explore what’s possible, build self-trust, and move toward the life you want.
